Caldecott Park in Rugby
Below is a picture of the bandstand in Caldecott park in Rugby, Warwickshire. The park was a gift to the town of Rugby from Colonel Francis Caldecott, a former Mayor of Rugby. The bandstand is am historic feature of the park, reflecting its Edwardian origins. Caldecott Park was officially opened in 1904, and the bandstand became a central element, used for public performances, particularly by brass bands, which were highly popular during that era.
