CORONAVIRUS (CORVID-19)

As lock down restrictions are being eased, Sensual Bodyworks is again open for bookings. However, given the physical proximity and body contact of Sensual Bodyworks treatments it is responsible to offer some guidance and assurances to clients.

I do recommend that if you are in a high risk group you continue to be more cautious for the being and do not book until there is further guidance from the movement suggesting it is safe to do so.

As is always the case, the treatment table and any utensils are always cleaned and disinfected thoroughly before each treatment. Fresh clean towels are provided for each client, both for use during treatment and in the bathroom. I always shower just prior to each appointment.

NHS App

I am have installed and I'm using the App personally and you can check in using the App on arrival if visiting me. I do not insist you use it when visiting at the moment but strongly recommend you do.

What to do if you have been unwell in the 48 hours prior to your appointment?

As has always been the case, if you have been experiencing cold or flu like symptoms or have a stomach upset in the 48 hours before your appointment, please get in touch and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

If you arrive for your appointment presenting symptoms, I will be unable to go ahead with the appointment.

The symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

  • a cough

  • a high temperature

  • shortness of breath

These symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness, and are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as regular cold and flu.

What to do when coming for your appointment?

1) On arriving, wash your hands and wrists for at least 20 seconds using soap and water. Drying your hands thoroughly is essential.

2) Prior to treatment, take a shower, and I recommend you do so after treatment as well.

3) Cough or sneeze into a tissue.

4) Dispose of your own tissues and wipes into the bin bags provided

5) Minimise touching your face (eyes, nose and mouth)
